CHLOÉ's spring summer 2011 collection made me think of the ballet pictures taken by my all
time favorite art director Alexey Brodovitch. Brodovitch followed several ballet companies
- amongst them the Ballet russe de Monte Carlo - during their visits to New York between
1935-1937, and although they were meant as souvenirs, he released a book with the
beautiful images, simply called Ballet in 1945. You can find collectable versions of this
must - have book, worth up to $ 10.000... Ugh...
