After the dashing YSL exhibition at le Petit Palais in Paris, which ran from March till the
end of August this year, it was inevitable this retrospective would inspire designers
worldwide for their spring summer 2011 collections. The colourful combinations, transparent
blouses and dresses, the wide legged pants, the turbans, the 1977 Chinese collection
(Louis Vuitton), it was all there.
