Eight years old she was, when she discovered the pages of Vogue at her grandmother's in her native Netherlands. As a little girl she rather flipped through the glossy pages of this magical world called Vogue, than playing with her cousins outside in her grandmother's rose garden. A world of wonderful clothes and elegant women, high heels, red lipstick and plenty pizzazz. One year after her introduction to Vogue, she got intoxicated by the beauty of Paris, during her first trip to the City of Couture with her parents. She cried the five hours road trip back home and decided when she would be old enough to wear high heels, she would wear them daily and walk the Parisian pavements, living there, working in fashion.Version:1.0 StartHTML:0000000167 EndHTML:0000001656 StartFragment:0000000457 EndFragment:0000001640
This childhood dream became reality in 1997, when Tiara packed her suitcase full of heels and dresses, grabbed her bank card and her three years old son to leave for Paris, after having studied fashion at one of the two most prestigious art academies to study fashion: the Royal Art Academy of Antwerp in Belgium, and having obtained a bachelor degree in fashion & marketing . Within a week Ronde found her and her son their first apartment in the famous rue de Bièvre, next to the residence of Madame Mitterand, at the left bank of Paris in the historical Latin quarter. An internship at French fashion magazine L'OFFICIEL followed, a position she swiftly changed into fashion editor and stylist. After 2 years of working experience for this international high end fashion magazine, she started her freelance career as a Paris-based stylist and fashion editor, working for mainly international titles.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     Always on the look out for new projects, she initiated the fashion section of anglophone newspaper The Amsterdam Times in 2003, for which Tiara covered the international fashion shows. In 2005 she was appointed Fashion Director for 34-magazine, responsible for the entire visual fashion section, collaborating with many international fashion houses and creatives. In that same year she concurrently initiated the launch of the first high end fashion magazine in the Netherlands, the Dutch edition of L'OFFICIEL, which was launched in 2007, followed by a Belgium edition in 2009.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                       Mid October 2009 Tiara launched her digital fashion persona Mademoiselle Perle through a high end fashion blog with historical and cinematic references, today with over 150.000 unique visitors. She concurrently built an impressive digital community through new media tools like Twitter and Facebook.
