DAMIR DOMA - A new born star on the French Fashion Firmament

The Croatian-born designer Damir Doma, grew up in Germany and studied fashion in Munich and Berlin. In 2004 he graduated with magna cum laude for the best collection, and then moved to Antwerp, where he worked for Raf Simons and Dirk Schönberger. Raf Simons, his  mentor, broadened and shaped Doma’s perception of fashion and the arts. He started working on his own collection in 2006, and joined the Paper Rain group one year after, where he made a debut at Paris Fashion Week. Last Wednesday evening, March 3rd, Damir Doma presented his long anticipated first womenswear collection during Paris Fashion Week. Location: the prestigious Lycée Henri IV, in the famous Latin Quarter of Paris. Collection: a strong and promising debut on the French Fashion scene. Watch this space...
